Meandering gravel drainage bed to provide texture and color contrast while maintaining positive drainage without impacting the neighbors property

Potted plants add color & architectural interest. These agave love the excellent drainage they provide also.

Meandering synthetic turf surrounds the paver patio & shade structure in the center of the yard. Large boulders are set nicely into the ground to make t hem appear indigenous.

Side yards are typically non functional except where windows look out and here we placed a tree in a pot to screen the neighbor and protect all the underground pipe that run through the side yard, like irrigation and drainage lines. The gravel includes a natural look as well.

These beautiful Montana boulders are more like sculptures than boulders. It's nice to place them in strategic spots and integrate into the paving. They are perfect bench height and have some 'COOL' dendrites imprinted into their surfaces forever from who knows how long ago!

Large porcelain pavers stretch across the view and function as staggered pathways through the synthetic turf to the covered patio area. The large Montana boulders integrate into the steps & function as quite comfortable benches.

Finishing touches on the shade structure but the view is still quite beautiful!
