The expansion of an existing small deck off the back of the house added 600 square feet to include an outdoor kitchen and bar counter, a separate living area, separate service counter areas and a grand staircase connecting the lower lever pool area which was previously somewhat isolated. This opened up the area which had a narrow 4 foot walkway and narrow stairs that lead to the pool. The kitchen was designed with a crescent shaped bar with a mirrored crescent shaped BBQ. This expansion made it possible for the homeowners to entertain 300+ groups of people in the backyard.
