This apartment is located in an historic San Francisco building with breathtaking views of the Bay. One of the current owners inherited the apartment from her mother who had remodeled and redecorated in the 1990’s. The goal was to create a plan that would reinvent the space to meet the new owner’s needs while respecting the architectural heritage of the building. One of the owners is a renowned chef who never felt at home in her mother’s cramped and outdated kitchen. The kitchen was enlarged by capturing space from the adjacent bar and utility room on each end.
