How great it is to work with a fun couple with fantastic taste! Shortly before we started designing this kitchen, the owners saw a royal blue Ilve range and decided that it would be the centerpiece of their new kitchen-to-be. We stepped out of the box by coupling the range with dusty-green cabinetry which lends a presence without stealing the show. Handmade hex quarry tiles on the floor provide a rich base and the white marble countertops contrast with the deeper surrounding tones.

While not large in size, we packed many features into the design. The peninsula cabinetry offers storage, a large cabinet with bi-fold doors which functions as a breakfast area, and a tall cabinet designed to function as a bar.

The main L-shaped work area provides ample counterspace, food and dishware storage, display shelving and that wonderful range, capped with a matching hood.
