Our aim with this project was to create a healthier and more functional space that brings joy to back to cooking. As health-conscious cooks, the homeowners wanted a kitchen that inspired them and allowed them to create amazing, healthy dishes, without feeling stressed from a dysfunctional space. We came up with a plan that added storage, improved function, and included state-of-the-art appliances, particularly a steamer that is essential to the homeowners' lifestyle.

We kept it simple for the wet bar since it wasn't the main priority for the homeowner. We added a beautiful tile backsplash and brand new countertop, changed the hardware and updated the plumbing &lighting fixtures. These small changes completely transformed the space without adding unnecessary work to the homeowner's plate. Keeping the existing cabinetry and flooring helped cut down costs as well, so we could make big changes without breaking the bank.

The kitchen received a complete makeover. We kept the existing basic layout, only changing the location of the built-in desk to be more functional for the homeowner and to allow us to add counter and storage space next to the stove. We worked with our premier specialists, Crystal Cabinets, to create custom cabinetry that optimized the space without increasing the overall footprint. The existing split-level peninsula was evened out to make the kitchen more open and inviting, while also providing much needed landing & prep space. We added pops of color with a deep teal that brings the space into the current century without making it feel too modern. Lastly, we used the top-of-the-line, best-of-the-best appliances and plumbing fixtures to ensure quality, long-lasting products that bring peace of mind to the homeowners.
