A beautiful outcome in any space is possible when a design-build team cares enough about the motivating factors that are driving a renovation project. By asking the right questions as to why this renovation was important and what about the space no longer fit the client’s wants and needs BEFORE we began to design, the team at Euro Design Build was able to successfully transform the kitchen, butler, and bar into an ideal reflection of this client’s style. Our primary goal was to perfectly depict the client’s personal taste while providing more functionality and performance within the space, which was something the previous designer and contractor had failed to do.

The Euro Design Build team was able to rebuild the kitchen cabinets in order to provide adequate function, utilizing soft-close European hinges and bottom-mount glides, while also maximizing accessibility and storage capacity with the use of large drawers instead of open cabinet bases. The builder-grade cabinetry was replaced with solid wood shaker cabinets and a custom island painted to look like a piece of furniture. A butcher-block island countertop and elegant decorative hardware complete the new look. Decorative design elements repeat throughout the space such as the curvature found in the custom glass doors and the patterns within the backsplash, unifying all three areas surrounding the heart of this home with a new look that will gracefully stand the test of time.
