Our homeowners needed additional space in the home that they loved. The family of four had recently grown to five so their 3/2 ranch was no longer a fit for their growing family. We agreed that the best use of space would be to use their expansive unfinished attic space. We were able to add 1300sf to their home in the attic and renovated the existing bathrooms with unique details to fit their owners. The 1300sf addition was configured for 2 large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms for their daughters, a movie room, reading nook and living room area for the family to gather. The space is truly unique in the design elements we used while designing the space in collaboration with our VERY creative homeowner. We kept the masonry fireplace chase exposed in one of the attic bathrooms accenting the look with antique lights and concrete tiles. We also used the old front door and made it a barn door for the movie room. Our homeowner/designer had collected lights over the years that we we able to bring up to code and reconfigure to utilize in various rooms across the renovation. We added a grand new front entrance fit for their beautiful new interior.
