Brookfield Prairie Home

This comfortable dwelling is in a prairie setting on the fringe of a small city~ and everything about it was designed with family in mind. All of the layouts and finishes were inspired and imagined by the young couple and came to life while the home was being built. The best thing about waiting is when the end result matches the dream... this is one of those places. Ruebl Builders were wonderful to work with on this fun project.

This two sided fireplace perfectly separates the great room from the spacious kitchen. The full height stone on both sides is divided with soft arched passages.

The main bedroom has a wonderful sloped tray ceiling that is highlighted by this curvy black iron chandelier. Over the headboard there are recessed cans in combination with the bedside lamps, which offer all levels of lighting and mood changing options.

The main bath has both a freestanding tub and curbless shower that make lingering an easy thing to do. Even the private water closet has a window that looks out to the prairie, making this ensuite bathroom light and bright all day long!

All of the finishes in this lower level bar area were milled over and paired up to give a relaxed vibe with a traditional flare. The dark stained wood and light brick do the trick :) The vinyl faux wood floor is family friendly while still adding warmth to the lower level.
