The floating steel staircase with powder coated pig rail railing system is unique and appropriate for this open concept home. We repeated the stone from the two story fireplace on the back wall of the staircase and tied everything together visually with this sculptural staircase.

The structural timbers support a glass walled office area over the galley kitchen. Even with all of the rustic elements this home has wonderful lighting and natural light with views through out.

The kitchen is located under the lofted area of the great room which makes it have a cozy element. All of the lighting in this area is reflected due to the exposed floor joists and wood T&G on the ceiling. This is a large galley kitchen with lake views and lots of mission styling.

The oval dining table invites conversation and maintains great traffic flow through to the main level screened in porch. The lofted area has custom glass walls which were scribed to the timber frame construction. Under the seating counter is an artistic pressed metal circular formed backing....

The custom pressed metal wrapping the round seating island at the end of the galley kitchen is unique and very relaxing for a family gathering. With the high ceiings and timber frame construction lighting was tricky... it showcases the right views and provides task lighting to all the necessary...

The lower level family room has the focus on the fireplace while still having television and lake views. The leather furnishings and mission styling keep this rustic lodge relaxed and very welcoming.

The lower level recreation area has a second kitchen with casual seating area and two sided fireplace. The wood herringbone ceiling over the table is repeated over the billiards area. The stone floor and all natural materials enhance the rustic character of the home.

The cozy corner of this kitchen has a perfect casual seating area with custom cushions by Budget Blinds. The woven wood window treatments and wooden side chairs unite and bring warmth to this great little kitchen space.
