waterfront retreat

This exquisite home was carefully created piece by piece with one thoughtful decision after another. The homeowners were able to watch their dream come to life over the last two plus years. There is space for everything imagined and more! Every room has volume and views. Every place to sit offers comfort along with an invitation to relax. This home matches the welcoming personality of the ones who dreamt it. It was built by Thelen Construction on Delavan Lake in Wisconsin. I must say that Frank designed a spectacular family home!

The hearthroom shares a double sided fireplace with the expansive kitchen. Lakeviews are incredible and can be admired all year round from the sunroom/hearthroom. It is cozy and casual without any fuss.

The lofted library overlooks the great room and is located at the top of the staircase. This restful area extends down the hall where there is another bank of shelving across from a deep set window seat. Nothing was overlooked when the homeowner drew up these plans!

Themaster bedroom is well appointed and overlooks the lake. With a huge walk in closet there isn't a need for many dressers~ making this a tranquil spot without any visual clutter.
