Bull Mountain Residence
A great desire to surround themselves with interesting objects led Du Interiors’ decisions for a remodel of a couple’s Bull Mountain residence.
The full renovation is a blend of contemporary with traditional architectural influences, from new recessed lighting to interior wood trim painted throughout the house. The project included a refinished wood floor and coats of Sherwin Williams 7005 Pure White on walls and ceiling.
The kitchen was enhanced with a new island layout, striking white Arabescato polished quartz counter top and a timeless bevel marble mosaic backsplash.
Du Interiors custom designed an eye-catching eight foot long console table for behind the sofa inspired by the sculptural framework of a Ceci Thompson round kitchen nook table.
With the couple’s love of art as an inspiration, we chose the custom drapes for the dining room and kitchen nook, striking a balance between casual and modern chic.
Although the office space was small, we gave it big style! For that we chose Sherwin Williams 2740 Mineral Gray, a beautiful dark blue gray for the walls to contrast and highlight the fresh white Sherwin Williams 7005 Pure White gloss finish built-ins. A stunning IKAT print tribal pattern in indigo blue and white lent the custom made window bench cushion a contemporary but exotic look to the work environment.
The end result of combining contrasting elements and color makes this a cozy home to return to at the end of the day … thoughtfully designed so that their active dog, Mel, could also have fun and relax!
