Quarry Lake Home

A cool young couple asked Du Interiors to do a makeover of their home near Quarry Lake.
As with all projects, we listened carefully to their lifestyle and likes and here's are the new looks.
The entry, living and dining room walls are painted a light silver green color (SW 7621 Silvermist) and the wood floor is stained a dark brown-grey color to create a warm and inviting living space. The entire space was furnished with new, casual/comfortable furniture that included hand-knotted area rugs, beautiful West Elm pendant fixtures, floor to ceiling panel drapes, original art from my client's travels and several new accessories.
The kitchen benefitted from a fresh coat of blue paint for the cabinets (SW 9134 Delft gloss). The existing granite counter top is balanced by white glaze subway tile for the backsplash. The window trim (SW 6228) that is painted a darker shade of the island and kitchen cabinetry is balanced by crisp white (SW 7005 Pure White) walls. The mid-century inspired chairs from West Elm, reclaimed wood accent tables and the custom-made wall mounting bookcases flanking the fireplace create warmth and style to the kitchen.
A combination of dark stained wood floor and black and nickel finishes resulted in clean, modern lines for their home.

"She pays attention to every detail and made sure everything came together perfectly. I can't wait to hire her for our next project!"- C.B.
