This Westside Vancouver home had been turned into four separate apartments prior to the renovation.

SHIFTInteriors worked with the Averra Developments, architect, structural engineer and clients to turn it back into a single-family home.

The clients wanted an open-concept, clean, modern space for their family to grow in. The center wall was completely removed and the back of the house was given a wall of sliding doors that open onto the deck to create the easy flow from inside/out. The monochromatic colours were accented with white and elements of wood, concrete and marble. Colour comes from the family's impressive and growing art collection; a design choice that will allow them to change up their colour schemes over time.

The final product includes five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a media room, a laundry room, a family room, and the living and dining rooms.
