A classic example of an update working around the existing footprint, cabinetry and island slab. We replaced the doors and drawers of the existing cabinets- adding frosted glass to the uppers. We incorporated a popular technique to modernize the color pallete by painting the upper and lower in duel tones creating contrast with a modern palette. Our clients loved and wanted to keep the island granite. We made this work seamlessly by replacing the perimeter countertop to a quieter quartz surface achieving balance to the overall design. To make room for the single panel Sub Zero glass refrigerator, we moved the older appliance into the pantry, neatly tucked away. The kitchen is a hub of activity that the family loves.
