NYC Pied-A-Terre
A small and cramped 2 bedroom is renovated to open up living space and add brightness to a Hampton couple's midtown pied-a-terre in Murray Hill, NYC.
This midtown apartment was closed and dark. We took down walls that blocked the huge window that became the living room. We opened up the kitchen. We kept one thing- the original parquet floors. A classic pattern and beautiful once refinished. We added Rare Turquoise to the entry and living room to welcome home with joy. The couple needed work space, so we created a bar height live edge table for double duty- working and playing. Fun striped European tile defines the kitchen and echoes the bathroom’s metallic glass floor.
