This rail is one of our favorites! We really threw all the details into this one. The frame is ½” x 1-1/2” hot rolled flat bar. The pickets are ½” cold rolled round. Baseplates are all custom made from ¼” flat bar and include countersunk fasteners. The entire piece is all TIG welded for the most minimal profile possible. The entire railing was chemically treated black and coated with metal wax.
The Wall rail is also made from ½” x 1-1/2” flat bar. Brackets are all custom made from flat bar and ½” cold rolled round. 90 deg joint was fully welded and ground to a clean point.
