E. 9th Street
We were able to help the client out with a few small items on this project. First off we fabricated this funky awning. Awning is bolted to the side of the house and then rest on two outer columns. Columns were pitched about 15 deg to give it this one off look.
On our second trip over we helped them with their railing needs. They decided to go with one of our more popular rails which features ½”x 1-1/2” frame and ½” pickets. What makes this rail unique is how it flows from beginning to end of stair. Being that this is a winder stair, this is required by code. We were able to pull this off by extending the top bar of the guardrail into the wall mounted rail. We hand ground this knife edge transition so that it would be seamless.
At the winder section we painstakingly custom fit each miter onsite. Once together we welded and ground these areas. The rails are hand finished in our blackened and wax option.
