My client for this project was tired of the cluttered appearance of her kitchen. Her goals were to clear the counters and create zones to help make meal prep and clean up easier.

We got rid of things she no longer used or loved, moved seldom used items to lower cabinets, and placed items used daily close at hand. We freed up enough cabinet space that we were able to bring some of her cooking and baking ingredients out of an overcrowded, inconvenient pantry and put them right next to the area where she does most of her food prep. We created a coffee/drink station, and we placed daily used items close to the dishwasher for easy clean up.

After a couple of hours of decluttering and rearranging cabinet and drawers her counters were clear and the kitchen had a much better work flow. We did not purchase a single new bin or basket, and no labels were used; however, she now has a much better organized kitchen that is just the way she wants it.
