This closet looked messy and disorganized because there were too many clothes in the small space. My client was frustrated because she couldn't find things easily, and she wanted to pair her wardrobe down to a more manageable level.

We went through all her clothing and kept only the pieces she still wears and enjoys. After the declutter, we place her clothes back in the closet with like pieces together. Then we subcategorized the main categories based on when the clothes are worn (work, casual, night out, ETC.) because she felt like this system would work best for her. We repurposed emptied bins to store things that are seldom used so we could keep often used items easy to access. We removed her collection of handbags from a closet organizer that had them piled on top of each other, and placed them on the top shelf so they are easy to see.

When we finished we had a much tidier closet with all of her things visible and easy to access.
