This home office had gotten out of control with paper clutter and mementos. My client teaches online, and she works from home most days. She was finding it difficult to stay focused because of all the clutter. Her main goal was to create a calm, uncluttered space to work. She also wanted a more professional, less messy bookshelf in the background for her meetings.

We began by doing a through declutter of the paperwork and the other items on the shelves. We moved an un-necessary table out of the room, and we brought in a small side table and floor lamp to create an additional space for her to work and relax. We used magazine boxes, photo boxes, and file boxes in a pretty, calm color palate to contain the papers and to give the shelves a more polished look.

My client now has a space that allows her to be more productive, and it looks professional and pretty!
