Container Design - Spring and Summer

These container designs often bridge spring into summer. Their large size demanded multiples of many of the same species and the color combinations needed to be read from a distance. They were maintained/groomed weekly and watered frequently.

This is one of a trio of pots for my client's cedar deck. Each has a different collection of succulents and complimentary perennials. This container features one of the Earth's oldest plants and a favorite of mine - Cycad revoluta. Also included are Heuchera and Lysmachia nummularia 'Aurea'.
