A small kitchen presented design challenges for this remodeled kitchen. To keep the costs down the owners decided to not relocate the plumbing and major electrical systems. A corner half lazy susan utilizes previously wasted space. By placing the microwave in a drawer cabinet the countertop space above was spared. Beneath the microwave a wide drawer contains a large number of knives. A geometric tile accent above the range creates a dramatic focal point. Brookhaven cabinets in a slab door style were selected.
