Cottage Casual

This was a job I really enjoyed doing! These clients bought this home and wanted to make it feel lighter, casual, and cottage-y! We were on a fairly tight budget, but I think by using some of the clients' existing pieces and adding some new pieces as well, we pulled it off! It turned out very cozy, livable, and inviting!

The console table we used against this wall was an existing piece the owner brought from her previous home and we re-purposed it here as an entry-type piece. Then we added some new lamps from HomeGoods, and an interesting wood art piece for the wall, to bring some of our soft blues to this area.

This is obviously a "before" photo of a chair we decided to reupholster. It was my client's father's chair and had a lot of sentimental value, but it was in pretty bad shape. Luckily, I know a great upholsterer! Look at the after photo and you'll know how good Joe Ellis Upholstery is!

This is an after - if you can believe it - of my client's chair and ottoman we had repaired and reupholstered. It was her dad's chair, so she really wanted to use it because it had sentimental value. Thanks to Joe Ellis Upholstery for giving it new life! Fabric is from Carole Fabrics.
