This cottage was in much need of an update to the kitchen & bathrooms. The clients wanted to make sure that the update was worked into the original bones structure but wanted the modern conveniences while keeping the cottage charm they so loved. The kitchen introduces both white & neutral maple cabinets in the island & pantry cabinets keeping the warmth that wood offers & compliments the new wood french doors. The original hardwood floors where refinished for a new lease on life. The new mosaic tile back splash plays off the wood tones & adds a casual detail. The 2 piece powder room incorporates a vessel sink & old fashioned styled faucet reminiscent of years gone by. The Master ensuite was dressed with a furniture style vanity & accompanied with a modest oval mirror for an understated finished detail supporting the clients wish for new with the finished look of time gone by.
