Fewer projects yield greater accretive value to a home than a bathroom full gut renovation. Bathrooms are one of the most expensive areas of a home in terms of construction, and they’re where people spend a great deal of time. With the goal of demonstrating that money had been well spent, Deborah Martin Designs collaborated with Home Improvement and More, Inc. on a North Shore design/build project that produced nothing short of spectacular results.
Dating back to the home’s original construction nearly thirty years ago, this master bathroom was originally built to the highest standards with features that included an oversize jacuzzi tub, steam shower, built in sound system, and floor to ceiling decorative tile. Three decades, however, do not stand the test of time in a space where luxurious amenities have become the new norm. The homeowners had contemplated this renovation a year prior, but a leak traced to this bathroom threatened to compromise other spaces in this two story brick home putting this project on the fast track to completion.
