Hewlett Harbor Kitchen Renovation

A design collaboration between Deborah Martin Designs & Showcase Kitchens.

After choosing Showcase Kitchens for the complete renovation of their kitchen, these Hewlett Harbor clients expressed an interest in working with a qualified industry professional to develop a comprehensive design plan that would include recommendations for finishes, furnishings and lighting. The beautifully functional kitchen they now enjoy is the result of the collaborative efforts of Luis Viteri of Showcase Kitchens and Deborah Martin Designs.

The clients’ desire for an open spacious kitchen was predicated on creating a balance between traditional and more modern elements.

Lighting was an important design element, and a lighting plan was created to illustrate the number and location of recessed lights as well as decorative lighting. A polished nickel six-arm chandelier with white fabric shades anchors the pedestal base round table which seats six.

Modern updates include a gourmet suite of luxury appliances: Sub-Zero paneled dedicated refrigerator, freezer and wine storage and Wolf gas range, wall oven, steam oven and warming drawer. The latter has become a welcome and indispensable appliance for these clients.
