Formal Transitional Dining Room

Exquisite lighting is the final splurge in an uber luxe and dressy suburban dining room. Swaim side chairs receive a Kravet Couture quilted silk which is also used on the custom window cornice. A large repeat Kravet Couture silk is used on the host and hostess wing chairs which sport elegant bolsters. J Robert Scott's Athena Bowl is composed of a polished chrome vessel atop a Lucite base and is one of the few important accessories in the room. The soft ivory palette begins with a silk wallcovering from Barbara Barry for Kravet. A mirrored wall reflects the serpentine chandelier dripping with strands of hand-cut crystal.
