Desert Hideaway

On this project, we were Principal Investors and key members of the development team that acquired, redeveloped, re-positioned and resold a 5,500 sf base model home from a builder in a private country club in Rancho Mirage, CA.

The home was purchased in distress and was unfinished on the inside. We gutted the home, built a new three car garage, installed two pools, an outdoor Jacuzzi and designed and installed all the landscape and hardscape. In addition, we fully furnished and accessorized the home.

The home sold for the highest price in the neighborhood.

This is a view of the lap pool from the other direction. The goal was to create privacy along the side yard while allowing full western views of the golf course and San Jacinto Mountain Range.

This space was unfinished when the home was purchased. We finished and furnished the space to reflect casual desert living.

The kitchen was an unfinished shell when the home was purchased. We installed and furnished everything. The beautiful curved glass wall faces directly west to the coveted San Jacinto Mountain view.

The dining room was finished with soft texture walls. We added a fireplace and two alcoves for furniture. The room accommodates a large, 9' dining table, perfect for entertaining.

We added a full guest suite to the property. It is completely separate from the main house and has a large area for the bedroom furniture, his and hers armoires, a full seating area, kitchenette and bathroom. There is a patio off to the left.

This space was finished to basic builder specks with a small shower and tub. We gutted the area and expanded into an adjoining room which we turned into a large walk in shower.

This is the private side of the yard. The children's pool is on this side of the property with a large yard and patio area. The room shown was the original garage. We converted it to a game room and family area and constructed new three car garage and added new patio, wood pergola and pool.
