Shasta Way Redevelopment Project

This home was a "hoarder home" when we purchased it. It was in a severe state of deterioration but had tremendous potential. It was on a large lot with plenty of room for the new owners to add a pool. We gutted the house and upgraded it to modern standards, raising the ceilings throughout, and completely renovated the home. We added a four car garage.

On a project like this, it is important to balance overall budget with high impact. It began with masterful space planning. Tiny rooms were opened up. Spaces were modernized and enlarged for today's multi-generational family living including the creation of separate space for elderly parents or adult children living at home. Ceilings were raised, walls of glass were added encouraging indoor-outdoor living. We utilized a combination of finishes that ranged from very basic and cost effective, to expensive and luxurious, i.e. Walker Zanger glass tile. The end result was stunning and broke price per square foot areas for the neighborhood.

The original kitchen was about 8 x 10 and very dark. Raising the ceilings and opening up the spaces allowed us to create a true chef's kitchen with ample cabinet and works space.

This bath is off the entry and serves as the powder bath and the bath for one of the front bedrooms. The shower has beautiful natural quartz stone, limestone tiles, and Walker Zanger vintage glass tiles. We selected a high end vanity with an integrated glass sink. The faucet is KWC.

Adding mirrors to the walls, raising the ceiling and adding the glass tile horizontal accent expands the space.

We raised the ceilings in this area, added a window and installed a large Jacuzzi tub. The double shower has one rain head and one standard shower head. We carried the horizontal line of gray glass tile around the room to expand the look of the space.

This area was park of a rec room. We reconfigured and expanded the space to make a large master bathroom. We used 18 x 24 white modern tiles to create a large tub. This Jacuzzi truly fits two. Dark wood shaker cabinets are balanced by the large white tub.
