Downers Grove Transitional Kitchen
Older homes contain a lot of historical elements and charm. When renovating this 1850s kitchen, the original features were considered while still opening up and updating the space. This kitchen was widened to give the clients more space. White cabinets were used to make the space feel more open. The cabinets in the peninsula along with the range hood are both a darker wood tone to keep the color that was used for the original cabinets. Built in storage was added to the laundry room to make it a more functional and usable space for the clients.
