This historic kitchen was long and somewhat narrow. However, there was still enough room to add a long island that adds extra storage and counter space. The island features black cabinets that make a statement in this room. White cabinets were used along the perimeter to create a contrast against the black island. Subway tile was used to create a clean look. This kitchen is full of light and modern touches throughout.
