The new kitchen design was brought up to date with the current trends, while also providing functionality and an open concept. A dividing wall was removed and a pass through opening was added between the kitchen and dining room. White, shaker style cabinets were used along the perimeter and grey cabinets were used to provide a contrast in the island. To add to the clean and modern style, white subway tile was used for the backsplash. An accent tile above the range is a focal point in this small space. The floors were refinished and tied in with the existing ones.
