We created a stunning backyard oasis when it was nothing but a hard-to-grow grass area with a drainage problem. Our solution was to install a french drain (completely unseen) and a permeable patio that drains into the french drain. The back yard has spaces dedicated for a gazebo, fire pit, and an interactive and stress-relieving koi pond with water.
