We were called in to replace this existing pond that had been leaking. The client didn't have any fish or aquatic life in the pond, but really liked the sound of the waterfall. This home is located near the MSP airport so masking the sound of the air traffic was still something our clients wanted.

We recommended a 'Pondless' waterfall instead of a pond. It's far less maintenance and really only provides what they wanted - the tranquil sound of moving water with amazing visuals. We love to add aquatic plants around the shallow parts of the streams to soften the rock work and to add some naturalization to the overall feature. There is a shallow spot with slow moving water on the left side to encourage birds to enter and splash around.
