This enclosed, dark kitchen was transformed by removing walls and closets. The clients loved entertaining, and to minimize cost we strategically re-used cabinets where possible and modified existing ones. Along with the kitchen opening up, a mudroom was added in some under-utilized entry space, and a barn door was installed to add privacy on the second-floor media room.
