The owners of this charming 1920′s house had an overly formal living room that they hadn’t used in 20 years. The room was a wash of pale yellow and everything faded into the background.

The rugs are woven by Surya which have a large bold pattern drawing the room together. The lush couch is by Duralee with down stuffed pillows and is so comfortable you might just stay a while. Many of the pieces were recovered by a Bill’s Upholstery on Pollock Street in New Bern and turned out fabulous. The other lamps and mirrors were chosen to compliment the entire composition and add to the overall warmth of the house.

The owners said “we haven’t used this room in 20 years…now we use it every day”. We are so happy to be a part of making their spaces livable.
