An "L" shaped island within an "L" shaped kitchen, this 2nd place winner in the NKBA's Design Competition works as good as it looks. The cabinetry is a combination of Natural Maple and High Gloss Black in a "pillow" style door. Cabinet corners are angled to match the shape of the frameless windows in the breakfast area as is the wooden soffit over the hood which mimics the hood's shape. The counter tops are Absolute Black granite and the back splash is a stainless steel looking tile. This kitchen features 2 convection ovens, 2 microwaves, 2 warming drawers, 2 sinks and 1 cook top. The 5 foot wide appliance garages are recessed into the back wall and are16" deep for extra storage.
