This remodel used the existing cabinetry footprint with a fresh, new layout and color palate. From the mushroom colored painted cabinet surrounds to the door front selection (named drifted wood), to the subtle floor tiles and Venetian plasters walls as well as the smooth quartz tops with coordinating glass tile back splash, this is definitely an expression of comfort in colors. The aluminum trimmed obscure glass cabinets and the stainless elements, scattered strategically through out the kitchen, add a touch of polish instead of glitz, reflecting the monochromatic colors already existing in the other finishes. The calm fresh colors accentuate and enhance this clean soft contemporary design, giving all that enter a feeling of comfort.
The refrigeration is by Sub-Zero, the oven and micro- wave are from Dacor, the cooktop is from Wolf, the dishwasher is a double drawer unit by Fisher Paykel, the ice maker and compactor are from Kitchen Aid and the sinks are by Franke.
