To bring order and purpose to a neglected side yard, the design and installation teams of Merrifield Garden Center built a formal reflecting pool within an over-sized brick walk. The restrained shape and materials reflect the old historic neighborhood and the colonial brick townhouse to which the garden belongs. Formal need not be stuffy however - the family dogs have been known to use the pool to cool off on hot summer days.
