To create a destination outdoor room that welcomes visitors to sit and relax, the design and construction teams at Merrifield Garden Center used concrete pavers and wall block to make a level terrace within a sloping back yard. The terrace is defined by the surrounding walls, railings, and pergola, truly becoming an outdoor room. The awning over the pergola provides much-needed shade during the sunniest times of the day.
