These clients goal was for me to design a user friendly, easy to clean, updated transitional to contemporary kitchen. The wife loves to cook and bake, but her prior oven was way too small and required a wider cabinet box. The couple wanted a kitchen with enough subtle pop accent in the quartz counter and backsplash without driving them crazy. We gave them more counter prep, work and breakfast bar area by increasing the peninsula size so this could seat all the grandkids when visiting and store more kitchen appliances below. The frosted/clear glass mosaic backsplash tiles also have tumbled stone which compliments their new antimicrobial Cambria quartz counter. The new task recessed LED canister lights provide plenty of lighting, which reflects beautifully on the crisp, clean cream painted refaced cabinets. Custom metallic glazing on the corbles and crown molding raise your eye level nicely.
