Aging in place with an updated transitional style is the goal for this master bathroom remodel. The enclosed shower was demo'd and opened up to allow their Solatube to lighten up the entire bath. ADA grab bars were properly installed in the shower and near the toilet to make aging in place simple. Radiant heating under the wood looking tile plank flooring keeps their feet nice and warm. A new, deeper bathtub allows hours of soaking and relaxing. Quartz counter with glass and stone linear mosaic listel complemented each other nicely. The large, plate glass mirror was demo'd to allow smaller, beveled mirrors to shine with the new lighting. The upper light box was demo'd to further open up this space. The existing cabinets were refaced and repainted after adding new doors, drawers and brushed stainless pulls. Oil rubbed bronze fixtures for the sink and detachable shower hand sprayer are timeless and classic. We used wood grain looking tile plank flooring, which dramatically opened up this space. Lastly, beautiful custom metallic glazing accented the frosted glass skylight framing.
