Our design challenge was to update and modernize this outdated family room brick fireplace surround that went floor to ceiling. Due to budget concerns, we went with a faux stone wallcovering to wrap the existing brick fireplace surround. The larger scale faux stone gave the room a larger, calmer feel without being too dated, or busy. Before to after created a much more appealing look for the hearth, and entire fireplace surround.
