Fridley Gut and Remodel
Details: Photographer- Lynsey Tjaden Photography
Contractor- Landmark Remodeling
We opened up two walls to make an entire kitchen and dining open area. The dining room was a dilapidated three season porch and now is a clean space with clerestory windows and a patio door for a gutter deck. New recessed lights and speakers integrated into the smooth ceiling makes the space ready to entertain. The galley kitchen fiubked it’s usuable cabinet and counter space and a peninsula where a wall used to be makes for the perfect breakfast nook for the client’s young boys. The only laminate flooring was replaced with COREtec faux stone vinyl tiles. Stained shaker cabinetry and simple hardware makes the space timeless and the black silk granite compliments the simple, subway tile backsplash. A feature glass mosaic tile by the stove area and windows add a little elevated style. This space was done on a very tight budget, but you’d never know just how much we spent (and saved!!!)!!
