The homeowner was pretty happy with the layout as a whole but knew this space needed an update. With minor changes to the floor plan to change to a 48" induction range and cabinet pantry for her large countertop appliances and collection of cutting boards. The warm wood tones complimented the existing wood floor and tied in with the mid-century modern feel she wanted to achieve. In the end, she loves the new induction range and the larger island we created.
