On this project our clients took over an older, tired, out-dated salon business in a very busy plaza. Their vision involved transforming the space into a high-end salon, branding perfectly between their locations. The premises was approx. 1150 SQ FT. To accomplish the full remodelling we essentially had to remove all flooring, cabinets, fixtures and finishes throughout. Floor was broken up for new plumbing, walls were removed and new ones built. The new designed reworked the original curved walls in the hair station area.
New finishes included; luxury vinyl plank flooring was installed for its durability and sharp aesthetics. Monochromatic colour schemes were used to maintain the Lavish brand and create a chic décor to appeal to their clientele. Ten hair stations were installed along with three hair sinks, two high-end spa worthy pedicure chairs, double sided glass-top manicure table, a 6’ custom built reception desk and a custom designed staff room. Staff room is the smallest room in the salon, so very careful planning and placement was essential. The staff room has a full, mini-kitchen complete with sink, filtered water tap, upper and lower cabinets, fridge, microwave, plenty of counter space and shelf space.
This project was completed in 11 days. Anticipation of the new location opening was high and so were our clients’ expectations along with their clients. The renovation was a success.
