The reclaimed corbels on the hutch were purchased by my client at Legacy in Cobourg and are said to be over 100 years old. The mix of the old and new work well together and add character and charm to the Silver Grey hutch.

By removing the structural wall and extending the cabinetry down past the window, we were able to incorporate the dining room seamless into the kitchen main floor living room.

The vintage handles on the island are said to be over 100 years old, each one is hand crafted and uniquely different.

Here is a picture of the island handles my client had selected from Legacy Antique Market in Cobourg. The handles are hand crafted and one of a kind. The island is painted Benjamin Moore Silver Grey.

My client selected glass pulls and crystal knobs accented in Antique Bronze to pair nicely with the vintage Antique Bronze handles on the island.

Carrerra marble hex tiles were selected for the backsplash to give the kitchen more of a vintage feel. It pairs nicely with the Silver Grey island.

The main cabinetry is painted Benjamin Moore Chantilly Lace, a beautiful contrast to the Silver Grey island and hutch.

The upper cabinets were custom built at 15" in depth with the crown moulding returning on top of the cabinets. This allows the cabinetry to look finished and disguises the bulkhead behind.

My client loves to entertain, so a big island was perfect and works well in this space.

A white silgranite sink was selected to give the Caesarstone quartz countertops a seamless look.
