This ambitious and highly motivated couple who owned their own Physiotherapy practise, wanted to move out of their older clinic and be closer to home. This was accomplished by converting their home garage into custom therapy and treatment rooms. The space you see below used to be a double car, residential garage. We even left the garage doors intact, that way looking from the street, it appears to be like every other house in the community.
Even though a unconventional renovation, no corners were cut or expenses spared. The highest quality materials were used throughout to both promote functionality and create a smart, long term investment. Rubber flooring was installed in the treatment rooms for long term durability and short term comfort regarding the long days of treatment by the therapists. A small gas furnace was installed to maintain comfortable temperature levels throughout the seasons for both patients and staff. The home office/clinic boasts natural light in every room with well placed transom lights and windows. All by-laws and building code requirements were met and this family now has a long lasting, home based business.
