The couple loved their backyard but hated everything around it. This project was awesome because the homeowner was looking for a space with indoor outdoor qualities. They family had dreamed of a space where their daughter could hang with friends and they could comfortably relax while enjoying the sunset from high above the lake. We believe some of the best spaces out there start with the pursuit of a moment. While working on this project, the designer went above and beyond expectations to create a space that the family could spend years to come in. With a full kitchen below as well as fireplace above and elegant pool surrounds, this project is truly one for the books.

The original deck that the homebuilder installed off the kitchen had suffered from the Goldilocks syndrome–it was either too hot or too cold. Plus the bugs were relentless. The homeowners longed for a sheltered, versatile entertainment and lounging space. But they insisted the still-sound structure be incorporated into the design and that the new architecture enhanced their home.
