In 1984 two period log homes come together on the Niagara escarpment west of Toronto...one with its generous center hall and large rooms to either side becomes the main house while the other becomes a large comfortable country kitchen.

From the kitchen one may enter the solarium that opens to 25 acres of mixed bush and fields.

One of Tradition Windows classic gothic windows adds a nice touch.

With the addition of granite chimneys at each end of the main house, we were able to stretch the width by another 4 feet, quite helpful in planning the interior.
